There had been a time when Aoife was afraid to swim, afraid to be overwhelmed by all the water and the force of the wind. With Thor, and maybe with Isaiah as well, things have so very much changed.
She had invited both water and wind to balance her, play with her, send her through heaven and ocean, being so silly and wild that sometimes she ended up with more water inside her than out. It didn't matter, Aoife was safe.
Except now she was climbing out of the water in a place where she hadn't left her clothes. Now she was here in her bikini, quickly cooling off, even with the wind wrapped around her. "Shit", she giggled, still high on adrenaline. "Not good."
